Recipe Of The Week: Dorito Taco Salad


Ingredients:
1 Pound Lean Hamburger Meat
1 14 ozs Taco Seasoning
3/4 cup Water
13-16 oz Baked Doritos
2 Cups of Fat Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Bottle Of Fat Free Western Dressing
Shredded Lettuce (or Romaine works as well if you want more of a meal)
1 Tomato (Chopped)
 
Directions (Two different versions):

Version One:
1. Cook crumbled hamburger until no longer pink. Add taco seasoning and water; cook according to the taco seasonings directions.
2 Put Doritos on four plates (as little or as much as you like). Top with finished cooked hamburger. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese (again, as much or as little as you like). Top with shredded lettuce,  dressing and tomatoes. (You can also add other seasonings if you like).

Version Two:
1. Cook crumbed humburger until no longer pink. Add taco seasoning and water; cook according to the taco seasonings direction.
2. In a large bowl (a Tuppermade bowl is ideal), put in a bag or so of lettuce. Mix in the dressing, cheese, and tomatoes. Then add the hamburger meat then mix again.

Service Size: Four

Can be used as either a meal or an appetizier (fanstatic for BBQ's). The first option works best for a meal, the second works bests for an appetizier. You can add serving sizes up to you as many as you need.
